What is Jazz @ the Market?
Jazz @ the Market offers 9 free outdoor afternoon performances,
featuring local , regional and Denver based jazz talent. The series
is in its
seventh year and is overwhelmingly appreciated by the locals and
visitors alike. So, come, shop, eat and listen to some great jazz
this summer at the Vail Farmers' Market on most Sundays, from Noon
to 3:30 pm - it's lots of fun and the entertainment is free!

What is the Labor Day Weekend Party?
The Annual Labor Day Weekend Party is the culmination of the
summer-long Vail Jazz Festival. The Labor Day Weekend Party features
some of the world's greatest jazz musicians in an intimate performance
setting, cabaret style, every Labor Day Weekend. We will continue
the tradition of presenting an extraordinary lineup of great musicians
- living legends and the young lions on the jazz scene today - in
a unique format this is truly a "party". With over twenty-four
hours of performances throughout the weekend (morning, noon and night),
the audience and musicians are connected in a manner that consistently
inspires great performances. This Party begins the Thursday before Labor day through Monday, Labor Day.

Can I buy a ticket to only one Labor Day Weekend Party performance?
Yes. The Labor Day Weekend Party offers over 24 hours of live jazz performances
over seven separate sessions. You can purchase a single session ticket or a
Festival Pass good for admission to all the sessions. Once again this year
we will be
offering youth tickets for the three afternoon performances. However the
very best value is our Patron Pass, offering unlimited access to all performances

Is the Labor Day Weekend pass transferable?
ABSOLUTELY! The weekend pass, called the 'Patrons Pass', is transferable and
you can share it with one or more friends. If you are a hardcore fan, buy the
pass and enjoy all the music. You can still have your spouse/significant other/friends
join you at selected sessions by buying individual session tickets.

Reservations for the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort in Lionshead can be made by calling (800) 648-0720, and identifying yourself as part of Vail Jazz Party in order to receive the discounted rate.

What 'Insider Tips' can you tell me about the Festival?
No flash photography is allowed in the concerts.
The set up of the festival allows you to interact with the musicians between
sets. However, please respect their privacy especially just prior to going
on stage.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes, but with limited seating for each performance, shows might be sold out.
The box office is open 1/2 hour before show time. You may purchase your tickets
with cash, MC, VISA, or AMEX.

Are there any special discounts available for transportation?
Yes.
We also offer a discount on ground transportation form Colorado Mountain
Express, the official transportation provider for the Party with shuttle service
