Tiffiny and her competitive dance partner Kenny Nelson have been competing and performing together since 2007. Together they have won and placed in many competitions, including last year's Lindy On The Rocks. They teach the weekly Swing dance and Lindy Hop classes at the Mercury Cafe, and are known and loved by their students for their ability to create a fun, inspiring and entertaining atmosphere in which anyone can learn to dance! Tiffiny and Kenny are most well known throughout the world as dancers on the team 23 Skidoo... The high-energy, gravity defying, vintage swing dance team is made up of some of the best dancers that Denver has to offer. We're not sure if it's the high elevation or the lack of oxygen that inspires this group to push the limits of gravity and audience expectation, but for anyone who's ever gotten to see them perform it's a fantastic treat. The group was founded in 1999 by champion Lindy Hop dancer Tiffiny Wine. Since their founding they have become a competitive Lindy Hop group, winning several competitions around the country and taking International champion titles in both 2006 and 2007. |
