Aaron started playing the sax in the fourth grade and in the seventh grade was accepted at Stivers School for the Performing Arts in Dayton, Ohio. Entering his senior year at Stivers this fall, he has been a member of the school's jazz band every year as well as a member of the band "Serious Young Musicians", which has toured extensively and performed at several jazz major festivals including the JVC Jazz Festival in New York. He has won numerous awards for his performances including the General Motors Jazz Challenge, four years in a row and the Best Woodwind Soloist at the University of Findlay Jazz Fest the last two years.everal local professional musicians in local jazz clubs.
