Entering his junior year at the New Orleans Center of Creative Arts in the fall, this New Orleans native began playing the piano at four by ear and developed a strong Back to 02ground in gospel music, serving as his church’s organist at age nine. He is a member of his high school jazz band as well as the pianist for his school’s concert choir and the Mahalia Jackson Mass Choir. He received the Blue Note Scholarship to attend the Skidmore Jazz Institute and has studied classical music as well as jazz for an extended period of time. Sullivan has performed at the New Orleans Jazz Fest and recently performed at a fund raising event in Washington D.C. along with Nicholas Payton, Donald Harrison and Irvin Mayfield.
