Friends, family and fans of Tony Gulizia — well known as Tony G — gathered at the Riverwalk in Edwards on Aug. 4 to honor the Eagle County jazz icon and local musical educator of many of the valley’s students. A plaque was dedicated on the Riverwalk Backyard’s stage that stated:
