Frequently Asked Questions

Tickets to all Vail Jazz performances may be purchased online, by phone, or in person at the event venue (space permitting).

Online: click here for all available tickets and passes for purchase.
By phone: call Vail Jazz at 970.479.6146.
In-person: the on-site box office will open one hour prior to each performance.

Service fee $2 per order

Credit card processing fee 5% (if paying by credit card)

Will-Call fee $1 (if selecting Will Call)

Mailing fee $1 (if requesting mailed tickets)

If you have chosen Email/Print at Home tickets, please either print your tickets (a pdf attachment) and bring to the venue, or download the tickets to your phone.

If you have chosen Will Call tickets, you can pick up your tickets on-site at Will Call. Will Call opens one hour prior to performance start time, located at the performance venue.

All-Access Patron Passes include entry to every session of music, including the Sunday morning Gospel Prayer Meetin’ session.

Individual session tickets allow entry into the one session of music selected. Individual session tickets may become available later this summer as availability permits.

 

Vail Jazz @ Vail Square has two seating levels: General Admission and Premium.

General Admission seating is towards the back of the tent and does not offer assigned seating. Seating is first come, first seated. Tickets are $35.

Premium seating in the front of the tent is assigned with plush banquet seats. Tickets are $75.

Will Call and the Box Office will be at the event venue. Both open one hour prior to the performance start time.

Vail Jazz @ Vail Square: Doors open 1 hour prior to the performance, at 5PM. Performance begins at 6PM.

Vail Jazz Party: Pass holders may enter the venue 30 minutes prior to each session. Ticket holders may enter the venue 15 minutes prior to each session.

Parking is available at the Lionshead Parking Structure. Guests of the Hythe (formerly the Vail Marriott) will have parking options at the hotel.

Vail Jazz performances go on rain or shine.

All Vail Jazz tickets and passes are non-refundable.

No, we ask that ticket and pass holders respect our “no saved seating” policy. Please refrain from saving more than one seat for a friend or companion.

If we find that you have saved more than 2-3 seats, we will ask you to move your belongings and free the seats for other guests.

The following venues allow food and drinks, but NO outside alcohol:

  • Jazz Tent at Vail Square (Vail Jazz @ Vail Square and Vail Jazz Party)
  • Solaris Plaza

Outside food and drink are not permitted at the Hythe (formerly the Vail Marriott) or Tavern on the Square.

You can take pictures, although there is no flash photography permitted at any Vail Jazz performance. Due to contractual obligations, the recording of any performance (audio or video) is strictly prohibited.
