Vail Jazz Workshop alumna Lakecia Benjamin returns to Vail to headline the Festival after years of a skyrocketing career. This charismatic and dynamic saxophonist fuses traditional conceptions of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Soul. Benjamin’s electric presence and fiery sax work has shared stages with several legendary artists, including Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and The Roots.

Benjamin is joined by her band, Phoenix, under the Jazz Tent to perform an energetic set of mostly original music from her four albums, including her 2023 release, Phoenix. This is sure to be an unforgettable evening as this talented and dynamic musician makes a return to Vail.
